  • Sunday Funday

    December 16, 2018  2:00 pm - 9:30 pm

When does it happen? Every other Sunday at 1pm PST / 4pm EST runs will begin. Active playtime has a cutoff of 5:30pm PST / 8:30pm EST.

What does the menu include? Any Normal trial, from the Craglorn trio to Cloudrest, to completion. The 3 Craglorn trials on Veteran difficulty, to completion. Attempts on Veteran Asylum Sanctorium, Maw Of Lorkhaj, Cloudrest and even Halls Of Fabrication will be considered, though NO guarantees are made regards completions in these cases!

Whom does it cater to? Anyone with drive to succeed, desire to enable teammates, and a willingness to help everyone around you improve!
Are there any restrictions for Normal trials in this event? Yes. As people may be looking to exchange gear, a minimum of CP160 is required for ALL runs. It is also strongly preferred that people have completed at least one Thursday or Friday trial event with LWH already. The add-on Raid Notifier is mandatory. Tanks and Healers need to have Aggressive Warhorn, and the Ultimate Exchange feature in Raid Notifier activated. For Halls Of Fabrication, Asylum Sanctorium and Cloudrest, certain skills and DPS figures (no proof of parse) will also be necessary.

Are there any restrictions for Veteran trials in this event? Yes. CP160 absolute minimum, CP 360+ preferred. It is also strongly preferred that people have completed at least one Open Vet event with LWH already. Raid Notifier (with Ultimate Exchange enabled) is mandatory. Certain gear sets and skills across all roles will be necessary. DPS will be asked for parses, and these may be submitted publically or done privately: the more difficult content comes with increasing DPS checks and we would like to ensure we are equipped for the challenges ahead. More detailed requirements will be posted with each signup.

Ummm, WTF is the deal with all these rules etc? LWH already has entirely Open trials events which are inclusive to all, ranging from total beginners with Normal trials to those whom are learning how to complete Veteran trials. Also, this is not a Progression Core where all members share their builds and figures with complete transparency, and are expected to attend every event within reason. This is an event designed for folks to sign up and show up in a week where the content interests them, with no obligation nor commitment to showing up in a week where the content does not interest them. The various requirements are in place so that everyone attempting a run knows that the eleven people with them respect them enough to do their best with a sold, fair chance of achieving the goal set out in the signup post.

Errr, you said Normal AND Veteran trials? Yes: there is no hard focus on either difficulty. Some weeks will involve fast-paced runs through many Normal trials for swift and expedient farming of gear and Transmute Crystals, other weeks could involve back-to-back speed run attempts through vAA and vHRC, and there will also be times when for sh1ts and giggles we step into vHoF to see just how far we can get! There could also be a mixture of Normal and Veteran runs in the same event. What WILL be happening, is that signups will be posted with at least 10 days' notice so that folks can see what is on the menu for the upcoming event, and each individual run within an event will have its own signup sheet. That way if anyone needs to track down some missing gear, level some skills or tighten their rotation to hit the requirements for content they wish to attempt, they have ample opportunity to do so.
OK, give me an example of all this madness you have planned!

  • Group Dungeon Night

    December 17, 2018  7:00 pm - 7:00 pm

When: Invitations start on Mondays at 9pm Eastern, 7pm Mountain, 6pm Pacific

What: Group dungeons! Most weeks we have enough people show up 2-3 4-man groups. We usually do the day’s pledges, but we’re open to doing other dungeons if there are people who have specific ones they want to do. This is a friendly event where we’re more than happy to take our time if people want to do the dungeon quests and listen to all of the dialogue. Most importantly, this event is for people of all levels of group content experience: from brand new to pro. If you’ve never done group dungeons before, or have had bad experiences with random groups, we’ll show you that group content doesn’t have to be intimidating: we’ll explain mechanics, give you tips and advice if you want/need it, and otherwise make sure that it’s a fun time.

Requirements: level 10 or higher (below level 45 you won’t be able to pick up pledges, but don’t let that stop you from joining in). We use Discord to get organized & to communicate while running the dungeons, so being able to at least listen in on Discord even if you don’t have a mic is highly recommended (although not absolutely required).

  • PvP Night - Aldmeri Dominion

    December 18, 2018  5:00 pm - 8:30 pm

We run a beginner friendly PvP night. It's geared towards fun and not hardcore PvP. We rotate the factions and also the location, whether it's overland Cyrodiil, or going into the Imperial City.

We do a mix of the PvE and PvP for both occasions, so if there are nearby skyshards, we'll possibly run by them, or a delve to get that AP buff. We help with new players learning how to operate siege, set up their toons for Cyrodiil, and learn skill setups. It's recommended to have a decently leveled mount, so it's easier to keep up, as PvP can involve a lot of running from fight to fight.

We don't censor the language (though if something is offensive, we would snip that) and do enjoy adult beverages. When we run in Imperial City, we try to do a mix of farming TelVar, getting skyshards, achievements (Molag Bal), and kill any factions we come across.
